Jim's Story
Jim O’Boyle is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the Director of Technology for Hamilton Township School District. Since joining the district in 2018, he has spearheaded the technological evolution of its 27 buildings, overseeing the seamless integration of technology for over 1800 staff members and 12,000 students.
Jim’s career in education technology spans across multiple districts, including roles as a Network Administrator for New Brunswick Public Schools and an IT Support Specialist for Lawrence Township Public Schools. His deep-rooted experience, coupled with a Master’s in Education from Rutgers University (anticipated completion Fall 2024), equips him with a unique perspective on leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes.
When not immersed in the complexities of educational technology, Jim balances his life through his passion for coaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
