Fil Santiago, with nearly 30 years in K-12 education, has served in roles from educator to Director of Technology and Administrative Services. He’s led IT strategy, digital transformation, and school safety initiatives, with a strong focus on cybersecurity and data privacy. Fil is also dedicated to mentoring future tech professionals and actively participates in industry conferences.
Evan Abramson
Vice President
Evan Abramson, Director of Innovation and Technology at Morris-Union Jointure Commission, is a leader in cybersecurity and educational technology. Named Classlink’s 2023 Tech Visionary of the Year, he created the first national Esports arena for students with autism. He also chairs Future Ready Schools NJ and is a Google Certified Administrator and Trainer.
Ralph Barca

Ralph Barca is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in leadership, administration, and finance. I excel in team management, strategic planning, and implementing tech solutions that align with district goals, focusing on equity, security, and data strategy. Outside of work, I enjoy family time, golf, and supporting the NY Giants and Yankees.
Jim O’Boyle
Treasurer
Jim O’Boyle, Director of Technology for Hamilton Township School District, has led the tech transformation of its 27 buildings since 2018, serving 12,000 students and 1,800 staff. With experience across multiple districts and a Master’s in Education from Rutgers (expected Fall 2024), he brings a unique perspective on enhancing learning through technology. Outside of work, Jim enjoys coaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Sharon Johnson
Sharon Johnson is the Director of Technology at South Brunswick Public Schools, with over 25 years in educational technology. She has led initiatives that enhance learning environments and developed district-wide systems. Previously, Sharon held key roles at Springfield and Perth Amboy Public Schools. She co-chairs the Middlesex County Technology Council and holds degrees from Rutgers University and New Jersey City University.
Joel Handler
With 28 years in education, including over 20 years as Director of Technology for the Hillsborough Board of Education, experience spans roles as a physics/computer science teacher, Systems Network Engineer, and K-12 Technology Supervisor. Holding master’s degrees in Computer Science and Educational Administration from Rutgers University, presentations have been delivered at TEDx, ISTE, BETT London, and other major conferences. Key achievements include leading one of the first K-12 districts to implement a 1:1 Chromebook program for over 7,300 students and 1,000 staff members.
Teresa Rehman
Director of Technology and Innovation for Livingston Public Schools, leading educational technology initiatives to enhance teaching and learning. With a corporate background in coding and technical support, a pivotal experience setting up computers for a school district inspired a shift to education. After earning a Master’s in Educational Technology, over 20 years have been dedicated to fostering digital learning and bridging the gap between technology and pedagogy.
Lenny Libitz
With over 20 years of experience in educational technology, expertise includes integrating and improving technology in schools. Projects led include network upgrades, cybersecurity, cloud migration, and modern tech deployment. Certified by Google, CompTIA, and Apple, there is also active contribution to cybersecurity advisory boards and mentoring through the CIS Leadership Program, driving innovation in education.
Michael Estrada
With 24 years of experience in educational technology, Michael Estrada rose from technician to CTO, now leading a team supporting 4,000+ users across ten buildings. He focuses on safeguarding infrastructure and data, integrating on-site and cloud solutions, and driving innovation. Beyond his district, Michael shapes cybersecurity strategies and advocates for increased funding at county and state levels.
